LONDON CULTURE

With so much to do around Queen’s Square it’s tempting to stay local, but if you do decide to head into Central London, you can take your pick from the capital’s world-renowned cultural attractions just a short journey away.

The Royal Opera House at Covent Garden has been staging sell-out performances for centuries, and the city’s wealth of museums and galleries includes the National Gallery, the British Museum and Tate Modern, where blockbuster exhibitions and permanent collections are on display in an iconic building by the Thames.

Towering over the city, The Shard is a feat of modern architecture and one of the London skyline’s most instantly recognisable landmarks.
